My Favorite Places to Pickup Free Photos Online

When I first began designing websites, I had absolutely no money to spend on images. Fortunately there are images that are considered to be public domain which means that they are free to use. Over the years, I have compiled a short list of my favorite websites to visit if in need of a general image. I always start here first and then if I cannot find what I want, I will then visit a website that provides images in which you must purchase the rights to use those images.

I have needed to find all sorts of photos for various website projects.  I have to be perfectly honest that I prefer to use photos from my favorite place on the web to pick up photos, Getty Images.
