Gmail Server Error 502 - Gmail Down

So I finally decided to setup a gmail account for the first time ever.  There is something about giving Google all of my power that makes me a bit nervous. 

I am sure that any woman who has given all of her power to a man can understand what I am saying and how I feel.  But alas, I must open yet another email account and decided to use gmail.

Gmail is really uncomplicated to setup.  Unlike Yahoo mail, I was not required to give all of my personal information.  But within an hour of setup, I could no longer access my gmail account.  Instead, I received a message that said it was a 502 server error and that gmail was temporarily down.

So, I got up, used the bathroom, talked to the receptionist, cleaned up my desk, ate a hershey’s candybar, and came back to my browser and typed in gmail.com.  It’s still down….

I guess it’s time to go shopping since I can’t keep the same workflow.  I suppose I could setup a yahoo account, but geez, by the time I finish filling out the form, gmail will probably be back up.  So I want to find a good pair of running shoes and will just give gmail some time to fix its 502 server error.
