Automated Tweets for Twitter Makes Life Easier

[lbmn_commentscount]

If you are extremely busy like me, then you probably like the notion of cloning yourself to stay up with all of your day-to-day tasks, as well as, your website and social media sites.  Twitter is not on my top list of favorite social media platforms.  I know that it’s probably taboo to say that publicly.  But in my opinion, Twitter lost it’s sexiness the minute Larry King joined and told his TV audience to “follow him.”

Despite my need to vomit at this moment, I still know that Twitter is essential to any online marketing plan.  So I have my Kimberly Kimbrough account for Twitter.  But to keep it active and to grow my base of followers, I have setup a system to automatically post to Twitter.

Personally speaking, I like having control of my Twitter account and keeping my password private.  So I have created a set of macros in Excel and connected it to an awesome Firefox add-on, i-Macros.  It works well to automatically post to Twitter.

The Vice President of IT of the company that I currently work for created this list of automated Twitter programs that offer the same functionality as my macros.

  1. Twuffer – Twuffer was developed for anyone who has a need to schedule pre-written, post-dated tweets, you can use it for different purposes, like tweeting hourly/daily/monthly announcements, running time based contests and so on.
  2. AutoTweeter – A java based cross platform twitter desktop client that will allow you to schedule future tweets without using any external service.
  3. Future Tweets – Future Tweets is a free service that lets you schedule your Twitter messages. Send it at a specific time in the future or send a recurring tweet daily, weekly, monthly or yearly!
  4. TwitRobot – TwitRobot allows schedule your Twitter messages. Send status updates to Twitter even when your away from your phone or computer.
  5. TwitResponse – allows you to schedule unlimited amount of tweets and send them out in the future, you can easily manage all your scheduled tweets and edit or delete them from your dashboard.
  6. TweetLater – TweetLater allows you to schedule tweets that will be sent out in the future. Pretty simple and easy to use.
  7. TwitMessenger – A new service that allows users to schedule tweets for the future.

Automated tweets for Twitter is a perfect solution for anyone who wants to keep the conversation going!
